Identity In Christ
Jaycob Kramer
East Union's Discipleship Pastor, Jaycob Kramer, explains that many times people struggle to be productive and have spiritual success because they have an identity problem. 2 Corinthians 5:17 explains that when a person comes to know Christ as Savior, the old is gone and the new has come. As Brother Jaycob explains we often times struggle because we still identify with our old life and not our new life in Jesus. We must avoid finding our meaning in things like our achievements, possessions, relationships, and other worldly things. Instead find our meaning and purpose in Christ Jesus because we have been saved, forgiven, cleansed, set free, and cover with the blood of Jesus. Turn to 2 Peter 1:5-9 and let's discover what an identity in Christ looks like.
