Xtreme Student Life (XSLife) - High School students gather in the TEEN WING every Wednesday night 6:30-7:30pm to hang out with friends, worship, dig deep into the Bible and make much of Jesus.
Loud On Impact (LOI) - Once every few weeks on Wednesday night, 6-12 graders come together for a night of worship, games, fun, God's Word and more.
LifeGroups (Sunday School) - Students (6th-10th grade) meet in The LOFT (upstairs in the Life Center) and Students (11th-12th grade) meet in the Care Center (beige house across the parking lot) each Sunday morning 10am for Bible study.
Student-Led Worship- Occasionally on a Sunday night the students will lead out in worship for the entire church.
There are also many opportunities to fellowship (hangout) with other high schoolers in a Christian atmosphere. We do occasional hangouts, pizza parties, trips to the bowling alley, Arkansas Travelers baseball games, and more.
At East Union, one of the goals is to connect students to God's Word and to other students their age. We do this through worship services, and through small groups on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
I would love to answer any questions you have about connecting high school students into ministry at East Union Baptist Church.
There are many opportunities for High School students to serve within the church, in our community and around the world.
We have places to serve with in the music ministry, children's ministry and more. There's Children's Chapel and Race Runners each Sunday morning where high schoolers can help minister to children. Our students lead out occasionally in worship services (Loud On Impact and student-led service) Each summer we do a mission trip, trips to a local nursing home and Kids Kamp, all of which provide opportunities to serve. Ask Bro. Doug how you can use your gifts and talents to serve others.
