Music is a precious gift from God that allows us to honor, glorify and speak to our heavenly Father.  Through His gift of music, we have the opportunity to worship Him both privately and corporately.  We feel that each person has special gifts and talents and our music ministry is designed and committed to helping each member grow and enhance their talents all for God's glory.  With varying musical talents, we can find a place within our music ministry for everyone.  Here's a list of our opportunities within our music ministry.

 

Sanctuary Choir

Presents special music productions as well as the worship service on Sunday mornings. Rehearsal time is Sundays at 5:00 pm

 

Instrumental Ensemble

Includes piano, organ, percussion, woodwinds, strings, guitar, and brass. Those who have completed on year of beginning band are invited to join this group. Rehearsal time is Sunday mornings at 8:30, with occasional rehearsals on Sundays at 4:00pm.

 

Teen Choir

An exciting and fun group of students in grades 7-12.  They are under the direction of Bro. Mark and Bro. Doug.  Teaching students to worship God is the primary focus of this choir.  Students learn using various types of audio/visual ministry tools.  They take an annual Mission/Choir tour in the Spring/Summer.

Preschool Choir

Designed for little voices age 2-5, the preschool choir sings on Sunday night services on the first Sunday of the month as well as perform a Christmas program each year.  Under the direction of Lacey Roberts and Cindy Whittaker, the choir is split into two groups.  Children ages 4-5 practice on Sundays at 5:15 pm while ages 2-3 practice Sundays at 5:45 pm.
