During the Christmas season we focus our attention on the birth of Jesus, but does His birth really matter? Without the birth of Jesus we couldn't experience salvation, so yes, it absolutely matters. Pastor Pauls explains the importance of the virgin birth, that God was fully man and fully God. John 1:14 explains it this way, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..." Jesus has always existed but He became flesh when Mary gave birth to Him. This means that Jesus was the only person in history capable of atoning for our sins. Let's dig into this powerful truth about Christmas.
